Eva Graham Prior

Eva Graham Prior was the Granddaughter of Hebe Catherine Prior (nee Templer) worked as an orderly at Endell Street Military Hospital.

Died Jan 5th 1918 at a Military Hospital from illness contracted on duty.

Eva is not mention in the CWGC as technically she was a civilian although she was working in a military hospital and contracted her illness whilst tending to military wounded.

Eva Prior died of Vincent’s angina, a nasty bacterial disease starting in the gums and mouth. A very tragic and painful death in the days before antibiotics
